Wixom, MI – Trijicon® Inc., the manufacturer of Brilliant Aiming Solutions™, is proud to announce the latest advancements in the REAP-IR® and IR-HUNTER® thermal imaging systems. The newly upgraded models deliver superior image quality, ease of use, and enhanced durability, with added functional improvements designed to increase success in the field.

The upgraded REAP-IR and IR-HUNTER thermal scopes now include advanced image processing algorithms, offering enhanced thermal sensitivity and contrast. This upgrade provides users with clearer, more detailed thermal imaging for improved performance. A newly integrated DVR with an onboard SD card enables users to record 640x480 MP4 digital videos, and a single external button makes starting and stopping recordings easy for streamlined footage capture.

The inclusion of a standard USB-C connector allows users to extend field time by connecting external battery packs. Constructed from forged 7075 aluminum, the main housings feature top-loading internal battery compartments, offering faster access, a slimmer profile, and greater durability. Trijicon® Q-LOC™ Technology’s quick-release mounting system ensures fast and secure attachment, even in low-light conditions, while delivering excellent “return to zero” repeatability, eliminating the need for additional zero confirmation.

The REAP-IR and IR-HUNTER thermal scopes also offer a variety of user-selectable reticle options, including MRAD, MOA, .223 BDC, .308 BDC, and 300BLK BDC, providing instant adaptation to any scenario with today’s most popular chamberings.

Both models are equipped with 640x480 resolution, 12-micron thermal sensors, and 60 Hz frame rates. They are engineered, machined, and assembled in the United States and tested to MIL-STD 810-G standards. Available in three objective lens sizes—24mm, 35mm, and 60mm—users can select the optical magnification that best suits their needs.
